Curve smoothing allows you to modify a curve with global parameters. The process can be applied automatically, or graphically using the above GUI.
Hand-tweak the co-efficients of the smoothing function from this GUI interface. The most important parameter here is the window length, which defines how wide of an area the smoothing functions affects. The longer the window length, the smoother the resulting curve.
phon influence - Force the curve to be zero for a scalable duration around the onset of a M, B, P, F, or V. Very useful when smoothing the default mapping’s open curve.
curve scale - Scales the curve in the value axis, to compensate for loss of intensity.
Only Visible (toggle) - Smooths the curve only in the visible time range when depressed. The rest of the curve will be unaffected.
